IHG Hotel, Clonsaugh, Dublin
The 421 Bedroom 4 star Hotel to be operated by IHG is one of the largest Hotel projects currently under construction in Ireland.
The 10 storey building located in Clonsaugh, close to Dublin Airport has a Sprinkler System designed and installed to BS EN12845 Codes.
Working alongside Stewart Construction and a Design team led by Virtus Project Management, C&W O’Brien Architects, OCSC Services Consultants and MSA Fire Consultants, the project includes a zoned Life Safety Sprinkler System throughout the building.
Aloft Hotel, Black Pitts, Dublin
The 202 Bedroom Hotel project was completed in 2018 with a Sprinkler System designed, installed and commissioned to BS EN12845 Codes.
Standing at seven storeys in height, it was a challenging project due to the tight site footprint located close to the heart of the Liberties. Pre-fabrication was designed into the Sprinkler Installation, with co-ordination and site deliveries, strictly monitored and executed in co-operation with the main contractor, BAM Construction.
The Design Team was led by Plus Architecture, Ethos Engineering, Linesight QS and MSA Fire Consultants.
Beckett Locke Apart Hotel, Dublin
This 8 storey Apart Hotel project is located on North Wall Quay, Dublin with over 200 Rooms and a gross floor area of circa 150,000 square feet. It is being developed by the SACO Property Group.
The Sprinkler System is designed and installed in accordance with BS 5291-2014 Residential Codes. Sprinkler Fire Pumps (Twin Electric) take their water supply from a GRP Sprinkler Storage Tank.
The Design Team is led by C&W O’Brien Architects, IN2 Services Consultants and JGA Fire Consultants. Bennett Construction are the Main Contractors.
The contract was secured through a Selective Tendering process.
Adare Manor Hotel (West Wing)
We were delighted to be associated with this prestigious 5 Star Hotel and Golf Resort in Adare Manor, host to the Ryder Cup in 2027.
Automatic were appointed to design, install and commission a Sprinkler System to BS 9251 – 2014 Residential Codes, Category 3 in compliance with the Fire Safety Certificate.
The Design Team included Arup Consultants as Services Consultants and JGA as Fire Consultants. John Paul Construction were the Main Contractors.
St Keavens Port Hotel, Dublin
This Hotel project is being developed by the JD Wetherspoon Plc located on Camden Street, Dublin.
We were appointed to Design, Install and Commission two Sprinkler Systems for the project. One system is designed to BS EN 12845 OH1 Wet System for the ground floor Bar and Atrium area while a second system is designed to BS 9251 Residential codes for the Apart Hotel Rooms, in the Listed Building, as per the Fire Safety Certificate and Specifications.
The installation within the Listed Building presented some design, installation and co-ordination challenges, where we worked, with pre-approvals and great co-operation, alongside Heritage Council officials and inspectors.
The contract was secured through Design and Build Selective Tendering process. Renaissance Engineering are the Services Consultants.
StayCity Hotel, Dublin
We designed, installed and commissioned a Fire Sprinkler System to BS 9251 – 2014 for Domestic and Residential Occupancies, Code of Practice, Class 3 for this 50 Room Aparthotel in Bride Street, Dublin.
Each Studio Apartment includes a Bedroom, a Bathroom and a Kitchen/Cooking area.
The Automatic Sprinkler system is installed to protect all areas and the Pump House is located at Roof Level.
Environmental Design Partnership were the Services Consultants.
