Cherrywood TC2 is the first phase of the Hines Residential development in Cherrywood, consisting of 384 apartments, private Gym and Concierge Area. The development will be constructed over nine levels split into two Blocks which also includes a Basement Car Park. The stand-alone Sprinkler System was designed and is being installed and commissioned to BS 9251 Residential Design Standards to serve and protect the development, incorporating dedicated water storage tanks, pumps, controls and pipework.

Automatic have specific project teams trained for and dedicated to Residential developments. The design team is led by HJ Lyons Architects, OCSC Services Consultants and MSA Fire Consultants. Sisk are the main contractors. The project is due for completion in 2021.

This Residential project was part of an overall Commercial & Residential Development undertaken for the Ballymore Group at North Wall Quay on the North Docks in Dublin.
We also completed the Sprinkler Installations for the Commercial part of the development including subsequent Office Fit Out projects, such as the NTMA.
The Residential Sprinklers are designed, installed and commissioned to BS 9251 Residential Sprinkler Design Standards. There are various building blocks on the site ranging from 5 to 10 storeys in height.

The client’s team was led by Ballymore Project Management, along with Homan O’Brien Services Consultants, Scollard Doyle QS and MSA Fire Consultants.
The Contract was secured through a Selective Tendering process at the end of 2018 and completed in August 2020.

This mixed Retail, Commercial and Residential project contains Student Accommodation in Ballymun on the north side of Dublin City, serving a number of Colleges in the area.
Automatic were awarded the contract to design, install and commission the Sprinkler System to Block 1 and 2 to BS 9251:2014. We also installed the Dry Riser system in 5 number Stair Cores to BS 9990:2015, along with the design, supply and install all necessary Fire Extinguishers for both Blocks 1 and 2 to IS 291:2015 standard.

The Oisin House is a 247 bedroom student accommodation project located on the Trinity College Campus in Dublin. The overall development has a gross floor area of approx. 130,000 square feet with 6 storeys above ground level and a 2 storey basement area.
The scope of work includes the Design, Installation and Commissioning of a IS EN 12845 Sprinkler System to selected areas of the building. The project included provision of Duty Standby Pumps and a full capacity Sprinkler Tank, with Wet Sprinkler Alarm Valves and Zone Valves on each floor.
The Design Team included JV Tierney and Bennett Construction as Main Contractors.

The mixed development at Charlemont Place includes a Residential Sprinkler system for the Private Apartments.
The project is constructed over 9 levels including a basement and sub-basement car park. Automatic were awarded the contract to design, install and commission a Sprinkler system in accordance with the Fire Certificate for the building and in compliance with BS 9251:2014.
The system is to achieve a Category 2 standard of coverage throughout the development. The Sprinkler system is to be stand alone and incorporates a dedicated tank, duty stand-by pumps, controls and pipework.

This project was completed for Walls Construction and Global Student Accommodation near the Grangegorman DIT Campus. It consisted of a 402 bedroom accommodation over multiple blocks with a gross floor area of approx. 175,000 square feet.
We designed, installed and commissioned a BS 9251 Residential Sprinkler System, including Duty Standby Pumps and a full capacity Sprinkler Tank.
The design team included Murphy Belton Services Consultants.
