We are delighted that Arnotts has been a client of Automatic for many years. It is an iconic retail institution where we have completed several Sprinkler and Alarm installations. Most work is undertaken out-of-hours to accelerated programmes, in co-operation with the Store Management to minimise disruption to customers and sales activity.

Our Service & Maintenance department is retained by Arnotts for over two decades on a 24/7 basis.

A recent project was the full upgrade and extension of the Fire Alarm system including a site-wide graphical user interface with a value of circa €500,000.

A fully zoned Life Safety Sprinkler system was installed in the new Frascati Shopping Centre at Blackrock, County Dublin. The contract was valued at circa €800,000 and the System was Designed and Installed to BS EN12845 Codes. Works included the installation of Duty and Stand-By pumps and twin concrete tanks.

Homan O’Brien were the Services Consultants and Collen Construction were the Main Contractors.
Automatic also designed and installed the Sprinkler Systems for all individual Tenant Fit-Out work, as each floor and unit was leased.

Automatic have a long-standing relationship with the iconic Town Centre development in Dundrum, Dublin since the original Sprinkler system was installed there in 2005.
Along with the main shopping centre installation to all landlord areas, we have also installed Sprinkler systems to many of the Fit Out and tenant areas along with the Town Centre Management offices and subsequent modifications and extensions to the Centre.
All Sprinklers are designed, installed and commissioned to BS 12845, Life Safety standards.
Store Fit Outs, including ongoing and current works for Five Guys, Gant, Hotel Chocolat, Starbucks, House of Frazer, BT2, Therapie, Pennies, New Family Room, Management Suite, Enabling Works to Building 13.

We designed, installed and commissioned the Sprinkler Fire Protection Systems in the main Shopping Centre along with the upper and lower car park areas.
The Sprinkler Pump House contained two number Electric Fire Pump Sets, rated to deliver 2,700 l/min at 2 bar and two number Wet Riser Pump Sets, rated to 1,500 l/min at 7 bar.
The scope of works also included the supply pipe from Wet set Alarm Valves in Pump House and Zone Check Valves in Retail Units along with all Electrical Works associated with the above.
The contract was procured through a Selective Tendering process with a value of circa €1.5m. The Services Consultants were Environmental Design Partnership.

We completed a number of projects for Dunnes Stores during their Refurbishment programme. The Stores are in Blanchardstown and Newbridge.
The scope of works included a full strip out of the existing Sprinkler installation and the design, installation and commissioning of a new Sprinkler Installation.
All works were completed out of hours with no disruption to the Store operations or trading activity.
The projects were procured through a Selective Tendering process. Flynn Management and Contractors were the main contractors and OCSC were the Services Consultants.
